Enterprise Training

Our goal is to help the budding entrepreneur by targeting real life needs. Setting up a business for the first time is often a challenging prospect as there are so many skills that are needed. To help address this skills gap, Waterford Area Partnership provides workshops, free of charge, covering topics in a practical and down to earth fashion. Click here to get a full list of training available.

These workshops are funded by the Department for Social Protection (D.S.P). Liam Murphy, Facilitator, D.S.P said “We are delighted to join with Waterford Area Partnership in supporting people who are setting up their own enterprises and becoming self-employed.”

Based on the reaction of the people who attended in the past we expect a very high demand for places again this year” is the view of Samantha Richardson, Enterprise Co-ordinator, Waterford Area Partnership. “Feedback from the participants during 2010 would indicate that that they found the content to be of real value. It definitely helped them to manage their businesses better on a day-to–day basis.”
