Waterford Childcare Forum - Parents Network

Who are the Parents Network?

The Parents Network is a voluntary group of Parents who meet approximately 4 times a year. All Parents are welcome to attend meetings which are informal and children are also welcome.
You can contact us at anytime by e-mailing: waterfordparentsnetwork@gmail.com .

What are the benefits to parents?
The meetings give parents the chance to raise any concerns they might have and to state their views. They provide an opportunity to discuss issues affecting parents and to share information amongst parents and the wider community. Parents can suggest any courses, seminars, workshops or specific training they would like to see organized for them. We can also lobby on behalf of parents on any issues they feel are important.

Some examples of Talks and Workshops that are organized by the Parents Network:
Bullying and Your Child, Safety and Your Child, Speech & Language Development, First Aid for Parents, Preparing your child for school, Creative Play for children.
