"Connect Programme" 

Are you in receipt of a Disability Payment?  Would you like to learn customer service, telephone & computer skills which can help you gain work in a local call centre or in a customer service role in an office.
If so why not register your interest and find out more details regarding a FAS funded training course which is set to start Monday the 15th March 2010 in Waterford City. In 2009, students on this course were successful in gaining full time and part time jobs. There are lots of opportunities available, as this is one of the sectors that despite the downturn in the economy are experiencing growth.  On completion of the Connect Programme you will receive a FETAC Level 5 major award in Call Centre / Customer Service Skills.

Participants must be over 18 with a good working knowledge of computers. ECDL or equivalent a distinct advantage.  All participants must also be registered with FAS and in receipt of one of these payments Disability Allowance, Invalidity Pension, Illness Benefit or Disability Benefit.
