Round Bowl
Freda is primarly concerned with form and the perfection of form. The decoration on her vessals consist of lines that emphasise the form and texture of the vessals. These lines are suggested by the marks made by fissures in the rocks and cracks on surfaces and the aim is to achieve a balance between line and form.

Flat Bowls
Each of the vessals is individual and is hand built from white stoneware clay using a combination of pinching and coiling. The vessals are multi fired and decorated using oxides and metals. They are then given a final polishing.

Bottle Vessals
The vessals are unglazed and are intentionally non-functional. The tactile quality of the work is important, as is the contrast between the smoothness and appearance.
