THE EVIDENCE
The High/Scope Perry Pre-school research – the evidence base for High/Scope Ireland shows that the approach can challenge disadvantage and social exclusion and improve children’s lives. The key finding of the research into early intervention in children’s lives, such as High/Scope, is that it works.
Professor James Heckman, Nobel Prize winning economist has identified that for every €1 invested in early intervention accredited services there is a €17 return. Prof. Heckman’s research can be found at:
