Do you struggle to let your creative side out, have you never had the opportunity to be creative, if so then why not take part in our creativity challenge being run as part of National Adult Literacy Awareness Week 24th to 28th September 2012?
Creative writing course at both Ardkeen and Central Libraries This four week beginners creative writing course, is for those who have always wanted to try creative writing and those who would like to learn how to put their thoughts on paper. There will be a celebration evening on Tuesday 3rd October, 6.30pm at Ardkeen Library for those who took part in both courses to share their work and partake of a glass of wine with cheese and crackers. Participants must be able to attend all four weeks and the course will be facilitated by Eimear Cheasty, Waterford Youth Arts. Dates are:
Ardkeen Library - Tuesday 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th September, 6.30pm - 7.30pm
Central Library - Wednesday 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th September, 6.30pm - 7.30pm

Creativity Workshop
Approaches to Creativity Workshop at Ardkeen, Brown’s Road and Central Libraries. At this interactive workshop, participants will learn some of the latest ideas on creativity, acquire some creative ‘mind tools’ and will engage in some practical creative activities. Workshop presented by Orison Carlile and Anne Jordan, authors of the book Approaches to Creativity to be published in October 2012 by McGraw Hill / Open University Press.
