Waterford Literacy Links Launched 17/05/2010 Waterford Community Groups come together to promote awareness of Literacy Issues.

 

 Waterford Literacy Links was launched by Cllr. Davy Daniel, Deputy Mayor of Waterford, in the City Library on 14th April 2010. The aim of Waterford Literacy Links is to create awareness about the difficulties facing people with literacy problems. It seeks to promote their full involvement in community activities. It also looks at identifying and removing barriers as a practical step in assisting people integrate into the community.
