Waterford Area Partnership has developed a range of actions to deliver the objectives of Goal 1 of the Local & Community Development Programme which aims to promote awareness, knowledge and uptake of a wide range of statutory, voluntary and community services.
Goal Objectives:
- Raise awareness and knowledge of services in the local community.
- Develop and sustain strategies and mechanisms for improved access to local services.
- Develop and sustain strategies and mechanisms to better coordinate local services.
Actions:
Waterford Area Partnership has developed actions under the following themes - Identification of services, networks & collaborations, promotion of awareness & knowledge, improving access to local services, develop a strategy for better coordination of services, information days, seminars and workshops.
Community & Voluntary groups who are involved in actions/initiatives which support the promotion of awareness, knowledge and uptake of services may apply for funding support for their initiative.
