WAP in association with Waterford Youth Committee and Waterford Voluntary Youth Council delivers a calendar of training events for volunteers working within the community and Youth Sector. Training opportunities for 2009 will include –

ASIST – Suicide Prevention
Waterford area Partnership aims to support and assist with the establishment of appropriate networks and collaborations which will plan strategically for the delivery of effective responses to the needs of a target group. To provide where required, the administration support for specific tasks or areas of work.
To ensure the development and maintenance of communication systems which share information on different issues such as training and funding among local Youth Service Providers. Local youth service providers along with community groups and interested individuals are registered on an email list and all will receive information emails throughout the year giving details on a variety of different topics.
